Aspirations
I've been doing a lot of thinking these days. About what I want to do. About what I aspire to become in the near future. And sure as much, hands down, it is definitely not business nor human resource, which is what I am doing right now to feed myself.
To cut things short I have been doing some soul searching to find out what is it that I want to do. Not just as a career, but also as a passion, a hobby or even a way of life. So here are the things I'm listing that I know I love doing:-
1. Drawing / writing stories - used to be a favourite pastime
2. Reading - practically about anything, fiction, non fiction, sci fi, self-help, comics, you name it
3. Watching movies - who doesn't?
4. Music - been learning guitar for a year now. Not much progress but it's hard to juggle between work and practicing guitar with my current schedule
5. I love cats, or to be exact, animals. Except roaches.
And, by mixing the above, I've decided to go into writing. To be honest I am not even sure what kind of writing I want to do, it could be journalism, it could be writing a book, I could try to create my own story, whatever. Bottomline is, I've decided to explore more on writing, and I've decided to use blogging as my writing platform. It's the perfect place do to my writing, not many people I know on the net, random people reading it, and whatever comments I receive, I should try to take it with a pinch of salt (in the event that I do receive comments). And it would be good as therapy to overcome by bad temper (which is getting absolutely atrocious, day by day).
Alas, writing it is, and writing it shall be.
